21 Days to a More Disciplined Life {A Giveaway}

Hi Friends! Have you seen that Crystal from Money Saving Mom just wrote a new ebook called 21 Days to a More Disciplined Life? I just got it, and I’m looking forward to reading it.

Crystal and I speak the same language when it comes to creating more discipline in our lives. Start small. That is key. I usually refer to it as habits, but whatever you want to call it, a disciplined life starts with small steps.

I glanced through the book and Crystal gives a call to action at the end of each day. She identifies one small step that you can do on your journey to becoming more disciplined. It’s simple, but sometimes it is the simple things that will kick us into action, you know what I mean?

But now here is the really great part! Crystal is giving away 5 copies of her book to one of you! This is a really quick giveaway so I am posting it tonight so there is more time to enter.

The giveaway will be open until tomorrow (Thursday, October 25) at 5 pm EST.

I will choose 5 random winners tomorrow and will send you an email immediately!

To enter please simply leave a comment telling me one area you would like to have more discipline in. (Mine is exercise!)

(Not at all necessary for entry, but you might want to make sure you are part of my Facebook community or following me on twitter to make sure you don’t miss anything on the blog! You never know when I might share a quick giveaway:) )

You must be 18 years old or older to enter.

  1. Mine is totally exercise!!! I say I will everyday but many times I come home and just want to relax! Maybe this book would help! :)

  2. I would love to learn how to be more disciplined in exercising at house-cleaning! I tend to put-off way too much… (gulp) Would love to have this book! Thanks, Johanna! :)

  3. Sounds great! Thanks for the opportunity!

  4. I too would love to be more disciplined in housecleaning instead of doing one big cleaning day 😉

  5. Kristen D says:

My eating habits are my biggest need for discipline – making right choices of healthy food, consistently!

  6. Cleaning my house! :-) Thanks Johanna!

  7. I want to create more discipline in my eating habits.

  8. Pick me pick me. Food, coke, and exercise are where I struggle to be disciplined…

  9. Getting to bed early!

  10. Claire Beam says:

I wish I were more disciplined in my housecleaning. It seems I often need to have company in order to have motivation to do real deep cleaning. Our bedroom is always last on the list because company doesn’t go there!

  11. Money and Mail. Eek! So excited about this.

  12. Rebecca Thomas says:

Need more discipline in housekeeping and homeschooling.

  13. I have to pick an area? Housework. Projects. Tidying up. Spending more time with my kids.

  14. organizing computer time: financial records, file management, picture organization, correspondence, blogs/Facebook!

  15. Helene Lane says:

Time management & making wise use of my time. I’d love this book!

  16. Great giveaway! For me, I need more discipline in taking time each day to be still and quiet before the Lord.

  17. Getting up at a consistent time, keeping the home tidy. :) Would love to win!!

  18. I need to be more disciplined in exercising. I feel off the wagon while my morning sickness was so bad. Now I need to get ready to have this baby. :)

  19. I want to be more disciplined about what I eat. I hope that if I improve my eating habits (more veggies, less snacks), my family will follow.

  20. I need to be more disciplined in my spending amd sticking to our agreed-upon budget. Life would be more peaceful!

  21. There is more than one area I need to be more disciplined in. I’d say the top 3 areas are money, exercise and time management.

  22. Exercise and going to bed earlier!

  23. I have been praying lately to become more disciplined, deliberate, intentional in my spiritual life, in living my life for the Lord.

  24. Exercise is definitely one area!

  25. Oooh, tough call. Either exercise or household chores. This pregnancy has really thrown a wrench into ‘normal me tendencies’ -but maybe I’d go with the exercise. I think once the nausea passes my motivation/nesting will kick on high gear, but based on the last 2 pregnancies a desire to exercise is no where to be found :-)

  26. Mine would be to start each morning in the word, without fail.

  27. Rebecca L. says:

Mine would be exercise too, however I haven’t even really started so maybe it’s not fair to become disciplined in that. Maybe I need to say I need help in being disciplined by getting up earlier in the morning to read my Bible instead of waiting til at night when I am tired (because then I either don’t read enough or I don’t have the time to spend with my husband because I feel like I need to read my Bible).

  28. Paige pongratz says:

Definitely getting to bed earlier, dealing with clutter, and making meal plans. Could really use the book. Thanks!

  29. Mine would be more disciplined with my health – eating and exercise!

  30. Mine would definitely be exercising. Making time for it on the days I feel I’m too busy!

  31. I would sure love a copy of this book. I also suffer with exercise. I often times think I don’t need to exercise because I’m not overweight, but, I have to remember that it keeps me healthy in other ways.

  32. Wow, where do I NOT need more discipline might be an easier question to answer. Ha! I am overweight. I should exercise. I shouldn’t eat those sugary snacks that I love so much. I should read more. I should study my Bible more. I should be completely THERE for Hubs and Son, not so distracted by everything else. I should really try to get to work on time. Especially today. :). Thx!

  33. I am constantly needing more discipline in so many areas. Right now (like many above) exercise and house-cleaning are among the highest on the list.

  34. Discipline and time management is my biggest problem. House cleaning is my least favorite thing to do.

  35. Reading the bible.

  36. I want to be more disciplined in my Bible Studies.

  37. Is every area an answer?
I need more disciple in healthy eating, maintaining my quiet time, and staying organized.

  38. Definitely time management but exercise/healthy eating is definitely a close second. 😀

  39. For me it is exercise too! Why is it so hard! UGH! Thanks for the giveaway! Exciting.

  40. exercise. sleep. nutrition. bible reading / quiet time. Every area!!!

  41. I could use discipline in a lot of areas, but particularly in exercise as well. I am very hit or miss in my approach and would love to have the book!

  42. I have become completely undisciplined across-the-board starting with undisciplined thinking affecting capital E-everything else. Thank you for the opportunity to compete for a free copy of your book.

  43. There’s so much eating, shopping, cleaning. i could really use this book.

  44. Mine is…um… a number of things actually. But they probably fall under the category of time management. :)

  45. Melissa Page says:

Mine is exercise. Every morning I set the alarm to get up earlier than usual to work out. Every morning I hit the snooze and feel guilty about it the rest of the day. Of course by the evening I am resolved to “really do it this time” in the morning. Maybe this book would help!

  46. getting up when my alarm goes off instead of hitting snooze!

  47. Lindsay Reimer says:

I need to be more disciplined in a lot of areas. One in particular is time management

  48. Elizabeth G says:

Getting up! So easy to hit that snooze…

  49. I could not possibly pick just ONE area…but I also won’t bore you with ALL the areas! Exercise, Bible reading and prayer time, and general time management come immediately to mind.
