21 Days to a More Disciplined Life {A Giveaway}

Hi Friends! Have you seen that Crystal from Money Saving Mom just wrote a new ebook called 21 Days to a More Disciplined Life? I just got it, and I’m looking forward to reading it.

Crystal and I speak the same language when it comes to creating more discipline in our lives. Start small. That is key. I usually refer to it as habits, but whatever you want to call it, a disciplined life starts with small steps.

I glanced through the book and Crystal gives a call to action at the end of each day. She identifies one small step that you can do on your journey to becoming more disciplined. It’s simple, but sometimes it is the simple things that will kick us into action, you know what I mean?

But now here is the really great part! Crystal is giving away 5 copies of her book to one of you! This is a really quick giveaway so I am posting it tonight so there is more time to enter.

The giveaway will be open until tomorrow (Thursday, October 25) at 5 pm EST.

I will choose 5 random winners tomorrow and will send you an email immediately!

To enter please simply leave a comment telling me one area you would like to have more discipline in. (Mine is exercise!)

(Not at all necessary for entry, but you might want to make sure you are part of my Facebook community or following me on twitter to make sure you don’t miss anything on the blog! You never know when I might share a quick giveaway:) )

You must be 18 years old or older to enter.

Update: This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Virginia, Andrea C., Rebecca L. , Elly, and Ashleigh! Check your emails!

If you enjoyed this post, I would be delighted for you to subscribe to my feed: in a reader or by email.

    Exercise is definitely one area!

  25. Sarah Ronk says:

Oooh, tough call. Either exercise or household chores. This pregnancy has really thrown a wrench into ‘normal me tendencies’ -but maybe I’d go with the exercise. I think once the nausea passes my motivation/nesting will kick on high gear, but based on the last 2 pregnancies a desire to exercise is no where to be found :-)

  26. Andrea C says:

Mine would be to start each morning in the word, without fail.

  27. Rebecca L. says:

Mine would be exercise too, however I haven’t even really started so maybe it’s not fair to become disciplined in that. Maybe I need to say I need help in being disciplined by getting up earlier in the morning to read my Bible instead of waiting til at night when I am tired (because then I either don’t read enough or I don’t have the time to spend with my husband because I feel like I need to read my Bible).

  28. Paige pongratz says:

Definitely getting to bed earlier, dealing with clutter, and making meal plans. Could really use the book. Thanks!

  29. J says:

Mine would be more disciplined with my health – eating and exercise!

  30. Samantha says:

Mine would definitely be exercising. Making time for it on the days I feel I’m too busy!

  31. Megan says:

I would sure love a copy of this book. I also suffer with exercise. I often times think I don’t need to exercise because I’m not overweight, but, I have to remember that it keeps me healthy in other ways.

  32. Jenni says:

Wow, where do I NOT need more discipline might be an easier question to answer. Ha! I am overweight. I should exercise. I shouldn’t eat those sugary snacks that I love so much. I should read more. I should study my Bible more. I should be completely THERE for Hubs and Son, not so distracted by everything else. I should really try to get to work on time. Especially today. :) . Thx!

  33. Leslie says:

I am constantly needing more discipline in so many areas. Right now (like many above) exercise and house-cleaning are among the highest on the list.

  34. Marie says:

Discipline and time management is my biggest problem. House cleaning is my least favorite thing to do.

  35. Dana says:

    Reading the bible.

  36. Tracey says:

I want to be more disciplined in my Bible Studies.

  37. Lee P. says:

    Is every area an answer?
I need more disciple in healthy eating, maintaining my quiet time, and staying organized.

  38. Aisazia says:

Definitely time management but exercise/healthy eating is definitely a close second. :D

  39. Mary Craig says:

For me it is exercise too! Why is it so hard! UGH! Thanks for the giveaway! Exciting.

  40. Anna says:

exercise. sleep. nutrition. bible reading / quiet time. Every area!!!

  41. Laura says:

I could use discipline in a lot of areas, but particularly in exercise as well. I am very hit or miss in my approach and would love to have the book!

  42. Elaine says:

I have become completely undisciplined across-the-board starting with undisciplined thinking affecting capital E-everything else. Thank you for the opportunity to compete for a free copy of your book.

  43. bridget says:

There’s so much eating, shopping, cleaning. i could really use this book.

  44. Eileen says:

Mine is…um… a number of things actually. But they probably fall under the category of time management. :)

  45. Melissa Page says:

Mine is exercise. Every morning I set the alarm to get up earlier than usual to work out. Every morning I hit the snooze and feel guilty about it the rest of the day. Of course by the evening I am resolved to “really do it this time” in the morning. Maybe this book would help!

  46. Lydia says:

getting up when my alarm goes off instead of hitting snooze!

  47. Lindsay Reimer says:

I need to be more disciplined in a lot of areas. One in particular is time management

  48. Elizabeth G says:

Getting up! So easy to hit that snooze…

  49. Liz says:

I could not possibly pick just ONE area…but I also won’t bore you with ALL the areas! Exercise, Bible reading and prayer time, and general time management come immediately to mind.
