I’m thankful.

I’m thankful for so many things this Thanksgiving. It really is impossible to say it all. But here are just a few. In no particular order.

  1. Sweaters.
  2. Fall colors.
  3. Rainy days.
  4. Coffee.
  5. An encouraging and supportive husband.
  6. Nourishment.
  7. Unconditional love.
  8. Encouragement from friends.
  9. Books.
  10. My darling children.
  11. The ability to learn.
  12. Candles.
  13. A clean house.
  14. My family.
  15. The internet.
  16. Chocolate.
  17. Scarves.
  18. Pictures.
  19. A camera to take those pictures.
  20. Online friends. (I feel like I know some of you!)
  21. Trials.
  22. A sovereign God.
  23. Giggles.
  24. The smell of a freshly bathed baby.
  25. Kid hugs.
  26. Messes. (It usually means something good has happened)
  27. Creativity.
  28. Variety. (Food, smells, colors, personalities, styles, cultures, etc)
  29. The crock pot.
  30. Sleep.
  31. Hot tea on a cold night. (preferably with a good book)
  32. Friends who see things the same way as me.
  33. Friends who see things differently.
  34. Health.
  35. Holidays.
  36. Special memories with my family.
  37. Kindness both from people I know and total strangers.
  38. Your comments here on the blog. Every one seriously makes my day.
  39. The Church (both universal and local).
  40. Funny comments my kids say. (Like telling Papi he’s running out of hair!) :)
  41. Hot running water. Seriously, such a marvelous luxury.
  42. Justice.
  43. Grace.
  44. Cozy evenings listening to Brian read The Chronicles of Narnia to Stefan.
  45. Life seasons. (Some are tougher than others.)
  46. Music. Cannot live without a good dosage of classical music in my life.
  47. The piano. Listening and playing.
  48. The violin. Listening and playing.
  49. Words. They allow us to communicate.
  50. Expressions and feelings. They allow us to communicate when words fail.
  51. Picture books. I love them. Seriously.
  52. Teaching my kids. Such a privilege.
  53. Salted Caramel Mocha from Starbucks. So good.
  54. Generosity.
  55. God’s abundant blessings. All of the above are not deserved.
  56. You all. So grateful you take the time to read. It makes writing here on the blog so much more enjoyable! I’m truly grateful for each of you.

I hope you all have a fabulous Thanksgiving. I hope you eat well, enjoy family and friends,  and make great memories.
